A team of Regional and Local Facilitators supports the Government Office for the East of England Objective 2 Secretariat.

Objective 2 Programme Facilitator Team

What is a Facilitator?
Facilitators are employed, part funded by the Programme itself, to work with Local Area Groups (LAGs) to develop and implement plans for delivering the Objective 2 Strategy (known as the Local Area Framework) in each of the Programme areas. Facilitators provide support for the local partnership, assisting in identifying, stimulating and developing projects which can contribute to the strategy.

The Programme also has support from three thematic facilitators and a Regional Facilitator to oversee and co-ordinate activity.

Who should I contact?
For information, advice and guidance on the development of projects that may be eligible for Objective 2 European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) or European Social Fund (ESF) funding contact the appropriate Objective 2 Facilitator.

If you are enquiring about the potential development of a project in one of the Objective 2 Programme areas you are advised to contact the appropriate Objective 2 Area Facilitator in the first instance. If you are enquiring about the development of a Business, Cultural or Environmental related project you are advised to contact the appropriate thematic facilitator in the first instance.
